Power That Brings Change

When you walk in true spiritual authority, things change.
Hearts are healed, lives are restored, and darkness loses its grip.

The power of God is not limited to a time in history—it’s alive in every believer who carries His Spirit today.

Throughout the book of Acts, we see the Apostle Paul walking in this kind of power. In Acts 14, he saw a man crippled from birth, unable to walk. Paul looked directly at him and said,

“Stand up on your feet!”
At that, the man jumped up and began to walk. (Acts 14:10)

The crowd was amazed. They even thought Paul and Barnabas were gods in human form! But Paul wasn’t seeking attention—he was revealing the power of the living God who worked through him.

In Acts 20, Paul preached late into the night, and a young man named Eutychus fell asleep in a window, fell three stories, and died. Paul ran to him, wrapped his arms around him, and said,

“Don’t be alarmed… He’s alive!” (Acts 20:10)
And he was.

Paul didn’t perform miracles to show off. He carried God’s power because he lived close to God’s presence. His life was a living example of the truth Jesus spoke in John 15:5 —

“If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”

That’s how God’s power works in you too. It’s not about titles, talent, or personality. It’s about proximity. The closer you walk with God, the more His power flows through your life.

You may never stand on a stage or raise someone from the dead, but your prayers can heal the broken, your words can lift the weary, and your faith can shift the atmosphere wherever you go.

You carry power that brings change—because the living God lives in you.

Reflection

Where do you see God inviting you to bring His power into someone else’s life this week—through prayer, encouragement, or simple faithfulness?

Prayer

Father, thank You that Your power lives within me. Help me to walk in boldness, knowing that Your Spirit works through me to bring hope, healing, and transformation. Let my words, prayers, and actions carry Your authority, and let everything I do point back to You.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
