PURPOSE:

An Event Specialist generates excitement, brand awareness, and increases product sales through event sampling and promotions. Responsible for reading all program materials, set up and breakdown of their working area, preparing and sampling products on scheduled event days.

REQUIREMENTS:

High School or equivalent

Experience in event marketing, demonstrations , customer service, retail/grocery

Ability to prepare and serve food samples utilizing cooking apparatus required for raw meats, produce, and other items

Great communication skills

Reliable transportation

Capable of light physical work; such as pushing demonstration carts and setting them up

Must have access to a computer , reliable internet and a phone

Assistant Manager Self Storage
Assistant Manager Hours
Hours are normally going to be 7:45am to 5:15pm on specified days. Scheduled days at this time are Monday & Tuesday – but it will also include any extra days that the managers may have you work during the week or several days in a row for the manager’s vacation time. That is why having a flexible schedule is very important. Approx. 18-20 hours per week. Starting wage $10 per hour. After 90 days there is an evaluation and a possible raise at that time. You must be able to pass a Background Check and a Drug Test before you are hired.

Assistant Manager Job Descriptions
Quality Customer Service is the number one policy for all of our Assistant Managers. Treating our customers with respect is a top priority with us. Some of the other job responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following areas:
Renting Units to Tenants – becoming familiar with the TaskMaster software to input customer information for rental contracts.
Quality Sales & Phone Skills – being able to give knowledgeable storage information to potential Tenants on the phone and in the office.
Light Maintenance – keeping the property clean including policing the property and landscape areas for trash. Landscaping/weeding the property is also required and you must be able to lift 50 pounds. Lot cleaning with a blower is also required when needed.
Cleaning Units – making sure a Unit is ready to be rented by sweeping it out and cleaning out vacated Units to get ready to rent.
Paperwork/Reports – accurate paperwork when doing a contract or recording information. Printing Daily/Weekly or Monthly Reports as needed.
Taking Payments – accurately taking payments from Tenants, which includes making change, taking a check or a credit card payment.
Following Daily Check List – a Daily Check List will be provided as a helpful reminder for things that need done on a daily basis.
Delinquent Tenant Calls – following procedures and logging all notes in Task Master when making phone calls to Tenants who are late on paying rent.
Renting Trucks – must be able to rent trucks to customers and also be able to return the truck by becoming familiar with the truck rental software and guidelines.
