Giving Thanks

Dear Church Family and Friends:
As we approach Thanksgiving as a National Holiday I would encourage each of us to embrace thanksgiving as a daily way of life. Recently while hosting Bishop Jacob he marveled at all the blessings in our natural surroundings from the roads we drive on to the tranquility of our neighborhoods at night. He then said to me, “My brother, I think that so many do not even take one moment to thank God for so many blessings.” He was not being critical, he was stating his observations. We have so much to be thankful for but perhaps we focus on what is lacking. Instead of being thankful, we are anxious about something that is wrong. Have you ever looked backwards through a telescope? It makes big things small. Perhaps we are looking through the wrong end of the telescope every day. Let’s turn the telescope around and start thanking God for every blessing every day throughout the entire day. – Pastor Greg

Restoration Sunday

Filed under: Pastor Greg's Blog — gbrown @ 2:19 pm

Dear Church Family and Friends:
Today is Restoration Sunday. This is a term I heard while in prayer for our congregation. We have suffered
greatly in the past two years from economical problems. As we have dealt with these problems doors to emotional pain and distress have opened against us. I believe the pathway to recovery is to find the biblical principles that operate in an opposite spirit to what we are facing. Today I am going to share these principles in faith that we are going to break through the spiritual barriers that are restricting us from the life God intends us to live. Be ready to receive today and practice what I share with you as you go home and into the week -Pastor greg

Vision Heaven TV

Dear Church Family and Friends:
A new door way to share the gospel of Jesus Christ has opened for us. Vision Heaven TV which operates out of Norway and broadcasts into twenty six countries including Israel has selected my leadership training
to be aired on their broadcasts four days a week. The Transformational Leadership series airs on Monday and Wednesday nights and the Heart of a Leader airs on Tuesday and Thursday nights; Seven Mountain Leadership is set to be released in the future. The programs are aired on the Galaxy 19 Satellite in North America and on Hotbird 6 Satellite for Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. You can watch from your computer at http://www.visionheaven.com/. If you have any friends or relatives in these areas, please let them know about the program. Vision Heaven TV has been established to share the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout all the nations. My heart’s desire is to develop leaders in all the nations of the earth. Leaders will continue the gospel being preached from generation to generation. This is a wonderful opportunity that is currently free of charge allowing us to go into homes around the world six hours every week. We continue to have our Sunday AM services broadcast throughout Arizona on TBN at various times throughout the week which is also free. This is a great blessing of favor as we move into our “New fields with new seeds to reap a new harvest.” Please keep all our programs in prayer.

Global Harvest Conference

Filed under: Pastor Greg's Blog — gbrown @ 2:26 pm

Dear Church Family and Friends:
We will host our annual Global Harvest Conference November 5-7 at Skyway Church. Prior to the conference we are going to conduct our WLI Graduation and Ordination service this Wednesday at 7:00 PM. We are going to license and ordain the following leaders; Philip Brown as our Youth Pastor, Susan Cheatham as our Worship Pastor, Charlie Coleman with Window to Healing Ministry, Cindy Petkovich with Freedom for Life Ministry and Deb Fritch with Lite the Fire Ministry. We will recognize Bishop Jacob Marineni as a commissioned apostle with GTSSS. This is going to be a very special night of honoring and impartation. I would greatly appreciate all our members to come out for this special service to honor those who have proven themselves worthy of this biblical recognition by serving the congregation. Apostles C. Peter Wagner and Che Ahn will join me in this powerful service. Please take time to thank each of these who have touched your life by their commitment to the call of God. A special thank you from someone you serve makes ministry even more special. -Pastor Greg
