God Will Supply

Dear Church and Family:

We are breaking the Spirit of Poverty! I have been giving you decrees and asking everyone to enter into agreement together each week to see our united prayers, petitions and decrees changing our financial atmosphere. This week I want to speak to you about your confession. The school year is about to start and it is time to buy school supplies and new clothes for the kids. If you don’t have the money on hand, don’t reach for the credit card make a new declaration. Say this with me…

  • God will supply!
  • Have your children enter into daily declaration for all the financial needs…
  • God will supply!

Refuse to tell your children we are broke and don’t have any money. That spreads the spirit of poverty to your children. Tell them we need to pray and see the provision of Almighty God. You are creating a blessed generation when you move in this realm of faith. When God supplies and he will, tell everyone about your loving Father!

Breaking the Curse of Poverty Pt. 2

Filed under: Pastor Greg's Blog — gbrown @ 10:54 am

Dear Church Family and Friends:
Here is a copy of the prophetic word from Cindy Jacobs to Skyway on June 28th 2009
“The Lord is saying:
Haven’t I given you the anointing of an over comer? The enemy would come in. The Lord says I am getting ready to raise up a standard over your life. The Lord says this will be a debt free zone. I can move this church to a place that if you come to this church you cannot stay in debt. The Lords says I am breaking the curse of poverty. Breaking it off the land, breaking it off this land! God says I am breaking it free from the ancient curse. The Lord says this was once sacred to the natives but this day something is breaking in the heavens and its breaking off this property and breaking off you, says the Lord.”

As most of you know we are battling the spirit of mammon to become debt free. We have been greatly encouraged in the year of 2009 by Peter Wagner, Dan Hammer, Che Ahn and Cindy Jacobs that we are going to be debt free. We can go back and add the words from Mike Maiden and Joe Askins to the list of outside people who come here and hear this word from the Lord. Cindy emphasized that we must contend for our prophetic destiny last Sunday. Her (Cindy Jacobs) word about money appearing was confirmed by two different accounts. Last Sunday about twelve people raised their hands reporting similar supernatural financial experiences!

Along with breaking the curse of poverty we must learn how to live by Kingdom principles in the realms of our finances. God has a plan for us to live within our means as He provides for us. We need to pray daily for financial wisdom and learn from God’s word how to become stewards of wealth to advance the kingdom of God. We have had several families graduate from the Debt Free Living which is a great place to learn how to shift your thinking! Each time we pray to break the curse we must also pray and ask to be filled with God’s Spirit and wisdom to complete the cycle from poverty to purpose. Here are some key declarations I would like us to make every day together as a congregation.

1. We declare Skyway to be debt free as a church.
2. We declare all our members to be debt free families
3. We ask God to teach all of us to be good stewards of wealth in this season.
4. We declare that the money we could spend on monthly mortgage payments to be shifted into expanding the kingdom of God in this community and around the world.
5. We declare that Skyway Church and each family will have at least five streams of income to expand the kingdom of God.

Thank you for joining together as one as we grab hold of the promises of God and see them become a reality in all of our lives. While the world lives in fear we are living in faith. This time of financial shaking is a season for all of us to enter into new realms of God’s financial purpose.

Breaking the Curse of Poverty

Dear Church Family and Friends

God is calling us to simplify our lives and unify as we get out of debt. As we stand together upon the word of God it is important to have a financial plan. This plan helps us shift our thinking and leave poverty and learn kingdom principles regarding wealth. To be free of debt we must change our thinking, practices and financial objectives. I want to share with you the example of our financial plan as a church to inspire you to develop your personal plan. I am also requesting for all of us to pray in unity for the financial future of our church. I believe that what we accomplish as a congregation will flow into every family in covenant with our church.

When we built our campus I designed it to be in use six days a week. The cost of buildings is far too high to have rooms sitting empty. Each area of the campus that is used for ministry is also used during the week which will generate income to pay off the debt of the property. We have access to five streams of income as a church. This is a model each family should employ as well.

1. Our tithes and offerings for all of our kingdom ministries
2. The cell phone tower brings in monthly revenue
3. The pre-school which doubles as our nursery
4. The school which is where we have our education classes
5. Our sports complex including our lighted softball field

One of the key components of reducing debt is to have a cash flow to pay the monthly bills plus money to put against debt. This reduces the amount of interest we will pay on the debt. Recently the school that rents our facilities has requested to pay less rent while the mortgage payment will be increasing. Here are two strategies for us to pray about as a congregation. We need to pray and decree that the school on Skyway’s campus will be filled with students and able to pay the necessary rents. Secondly, let’s pray for the Lord to give us favor with someone who would carry some or all of our campus debt. I believe it is the will of God for us to see the interest on the loan staying in the kingdom of God rather than markets of this world. Current CD’s are paying 2% or less to people putting their money in these investments. Banks want to charge us up to 7% for our mortgage. If we found a group of investors who would carry our debt at 4% we would save thousands of dollars a month and be a blessing to them. This is money we could be using to paying off debt. Once our loans are paid off we would have that money to put to use in expanding the kingdom of God. Your daily prayers in these two key areas are greatly appreciated. I am praying for your family each day as well.

Cindy Jacobs

Dear Church Family:
Cindy Jacobs will be speaking today in our services. She has provided much prophetic insight for our church and state. We are blessed to have her join us. The following is more information about this incredible women of God.

-Pastor Greg

Cindy Jacobs is a respected prophet who travels the world ministering not only to crowds of people, but to heads of nations. Perhaps her greatest ministry is to world influencers who seek her prophetic advice.
Her first calling is and always will be prophetic intercession. Ever since the Lord called her with the scripture, “Ask of me the nations for your inheritance, and the ends of the world for your possession,” she has taken that calling seriously. She describes her call to the nations as an “inverted homesickness.” Each year she travels and has spoken on nearly every inhabited continent to tens of thousands. Yet, in her heart is the memory that Jesus left the ninety-and-nine to go to the one. Today, in spite of a demanding schedule, she is willing to go for the one lost soul.

Puerto Penasco

Dear Friends and Church Family:
Today I would like Pastor Sam to share with you about the mission trip to Puerto Penasco Mexico.

-Pastor Greg

Good Morning Everybody,

As you read this blog our Mexico mission team has just arrived back from Puerto Penasco Rocky Point Mexico.

Our mission was one of encouraging the pastors and the church families in the town. We are establishing a long term relationship with the church in Puerto Penasco. During the day we prayer walked many different areas of the city. We believe that as we walked and prayed God was setting the land and the people free from those things that had caused the people to be bound.

You’ll be hearing some of those stories from the trip today. We as a team want to thank all of you for praying for the family crusade mission trip. We saw the power of God touch peoples physical bodies; and we believe there was a tangible change in the atmosphere, in every area of their lives, and in their city. We want to thank you again for praying for us and our families while we were on this trip.

We love you guys,

Pastor Sam

Tremendous Testimonies

Filed under: Pastor Greg's Blog — gbrown @ 10:45 am

Dear Church Family:
What an incredible outpouring of God’s Spirit over the past month. Last Sunday’s testimonies were tremendous. It was so powerful to have Ed Moore testify of the Lord removing the documented tumor which caused the severe head pain. Praise God! We had so many testimonies that I did not get to pray publicly for a couple that are now living in Iceland and serving God there. I did get to pray for them at the end and send them with God’s blessings. Here is their testimony…

-Pastor Greg

Good Morning Pastor Greg!
My husband and I have been going to your church little over 3 years and now live in Iceland and are here visiting for two weeks leaving next Thursday. We ran into Pastor Marie last Sunday, and as we were talking to her about what has been happening with us. She asked that we would e-mail you our testimony. It all started about 11 years ago when my husband, Joe, decided to come here from Iceland to go to school (he was brought up in Chandler) which was to take only 3 years he graduated last May. In Sept. we asked Pastor Nick to pray for us whether to go back home… then the wheels start turning and we felt God’s direction to go back to Iceland. The Icelandic economy collapsed and most of our friends tried to discourage us to go back. That there would not be any jobs and much hardship, but we kept telling people that we were not in this world’s economy but God’s economy, just as we have been taught in your church. God would provide for us. Shortly after, we found a home we found jobs. I have the privilege of going into peoples homes that are disabled or elderly, as a sort of social worker where I am able to pray and give my testimony and Joe got a job with our daughter who was asked to run a second hand store where all the proceeds go to support orphanages in Africa, India and Third World countries called ABC Children Services. There they are also able to minister to people that are coming out of rehab doing the 12 step program as volunteers and others coming into shop. Also we have be blessed to be reading the Bible together as a couple that has brought us so much closer in our walk with God and last Sunday we just happened to be reading Mark 11:22,23 exactly the same sermon you taught on last week (the right place at the right time). Thank you so much and God bless you and your ministry…
Please pray for Iceland and consider visiting us there with your ministry.

Love in Christ,
Joe and Esther Terrazas
