Happy New Year! Yes, the Hebrew calendar has changed to the New Year of 5629. We have had a tremendous time of corporate intercession when we hosted the 24-7 Prayer Torch for the state of Arizona. The nightly meetings released powerful prophetic words for our congregation and members. I went into this season with a sincere desire to hear the word of the Lord for Skyway. I always get direction at this time of the year. The portions of this vision did not come from a person who spoke prophetically to me, but all of it was confirmed by words spoken over us by the prophets. This information has been forming in my heart over the past several months and was solidified during this season. This is the year to bear fruit. We have planted, we have watered, and this year we will begin to see the fruit of our consistent labors. This fruit will come in the form of new souls being saved and many new people being added to our congregation. To accommodate this, we are preparing to launch our new Saturday night service at 5:00 PM on Saturday Nov. 1. I am looking for 200 pioneers that will come on Saturday night and make this their primary service. I need these pioneers to be willing to be ushers, greeters, altar workers, nursery workers, children workers, musicians and all the staffing required hosting a service with the full quality of what we have on Sunday mornings. These pioneers will be the face of Jesus to many new families looking for the love of God through our congregation. What an incredible week we have just experienced. The 24/7 Prayer Week with nightly services exceeded everyone’s expectations except for Jesus! We saw salvation, healing, prophetic words and most importantly passionate praise and love for our God expressed through worship and prayer. I want to thank everyone who participated at every level because when you obeyed God to do your part, it literally gave power to everyone else to do theirs. It is our cooperation and unity that releases the entire body of Christ into our purpose. This purpose is now ready to move to another level. Are you ready to do your part again? This Monday daily evangelism training takes place at 9:00 AM and Saturday night at 7:00 PM is the opening night of the Rodney Howard Browne GAT tour for the greater Phoenix area. Dr. Browne has a prophetic sense that Phoenix is prime for a massive awakening and revival for souls to be saved. When the scouted out Phoenix, Skyway was the church that was selected to kick off this three week. This tour has seen over 600,000 new souls come into the kingdom of God. Phoenix is now on the clock and Skyway is the first stop. Do you recognize the importance of what we are about to do for our entire city of almost 2.7 million people? I am asking every member to do two things during this tour. The first is to make a decision to come to one of the 9:00 AM evangelism training sessions during the three weeks. If you can come this first week it will be even better. The second is equally important. I am asking every member to come to each of the three nights, if you can only come to one please come this Saturday. We will be broadcasting on God TV around the world. This is a first for us, but it is not about us. I have watched the GAT on God TV before. The cities without passion have boring meetings. We have passion! We can set the bar for our entire city. I am simply asking everyone to come with passion to release a sound of praise and a cry for revival that will turn Phoenix upside down with the gospel of Jesus Christ. This Saturday becomes one of the most important meetings we will host because it goes beyond Skyway to Phoenix and yes, literally around the world. Thank you for praying for this life changing event every day and joining me.

We are in the middle of our 24/7 prayer with nightly meetings. We started last Wednesday night (unofficially) and God was moving so powerfully in our midst seven people gave their hearts to the Lord! I strongly believe that we will see this every night. Please come expecting to see God set people free from addictions, depression, poverty and more. Bring your friends for healing and salvation. Come expecting your capacity to be filled with God’s transforming power to be increased as we corporately come together every night. This week’s special guests include Pastor Emilio De La Cruz on Monday. We will be worshiping in English and Spanish! Tuesday and Wednesday is Gordon Hofer. Gordon has been with us before and has a very powerful prophetic anointing. He will be giving words to people during the services. This is really awesome for those who get the words and those who are there with them.

God has a great plan for our congregation, city, state and nation. We are going to begin a seven day twenty four hour prayer season from September 26 - October 2. We are doing this in agreement with fifty one other congregations as we lift up the State of Arizona before the Lord. This is the week that the Hebrew Calendar will shift into the New Year. This is a very strategic time for the kingdom of heaven and a very strategic time for us on earth. As a congregation we are going to be the launching point for Great Awakening Tour with Dr. Rodney Howard Brown on October 11-13. The vision of this soul winning tour is to see thousands of souls in the greater Phoenix area. This is going to be the first time our congregation has engaged in an organized prayer season like this around the clock in our sanctuary. It is going to be the first time we have had seven nights of worship and prayer. I have invited some very special guests and members of their congregations to join us for worship and ministry every night. I believe we are going to see the glory of God manifested in a powerful way during each of the hours of prayer you are taking and during our services. I encourage you to come every night possible and to bring friends and family for special prayer as well. We are going to see great signs and wonders each night and into this New Year to come!

The body of Christ is going through a very significant change. It is more than an adjustment, or shift, it is really a TRANSFORMATION. This is why I have called this series by this name. The Church is seeing rapid, radical changes taking place during the first decade of this new century. The Bible speaks about a great harvest of souls being brought in at the end of the age. If this harvest were going to take place under the previous methods and practices it would have already begun and be expanding. What we are witnessing is the necessary changes taking place so more believers are being equipped to personally be a part of the expansion of the kingdom of God. This is how the Church was started in the Book of Acts and this is how the Church will be operating when Jesus returns. It is more than saying we will be like the Church in Acts; we will have a level of maturity and power that exceeds what we have read in our history. The ascension gift ministers mentioned in Ephesians Chapter four are put in the Church as leaders to equip people to do the works of Jesus. Jesus was everything in one, and now he has given a portion of each of these important anointings to different leaders. As a team they impart new anointing to the Church so they can represent Christ to the world. The bible speaks about these leaders as apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers and evangelist existing in the Church today to bring us into maturity.

Today I am starting a new series entitled The Body of Christ. Here is another title I was thinking about, Now that I am a Christian what do I do until I go to heaven? The second title is a little long but it is really what I am discussing with you in this series. Do you know what God wants you to do while you are here on the earth? Do you believe that there is a biblical purpose that you should be directing your life choices around? The bible has much to say about this subject. God is restoring the Church to the biblical model of a people that care for one another with natural gifts, pray for world with supernatural power, and present the gospel of the Kingdom to all the nations of the world. He has a training method of using ascension gift ministers to help the body of Christ mature and accomplish this plan. He has given us the Holy Spirit so we can develop the character of Christ as we reach the world with our life changing message. Join me for the next three weeks as we unfold these restoration messages.

Skyway Church and All Faith are partnering with the CanDo-Nation food drive.  Every service Skyway is asking its members to bring a non-perishable food item with them as they go to church.  With the help of everyone, the food shelves at All Faith never need to be bare again!
