Dear Friends:

This week Dawn and I are off to Dallas to see our family. This is the last leg of the incredible six months of 2007 for our family.  We have had a wedding, three graduations and a birth! Our grandson Bennett is now almost four months old and this is the first real time I will have with him. We are also excited that our son in law Brandon is graduating from SMU law school; this is the official reason for our trip.  Brandon is a finalist for the John Kennedy Outstanding Graduate Award. We will find out the winner on graduation night.  We appreciate your prayers for us while we are traveling, and as always you are in our prayers. Please enjoy my dear friend Pastor Jackson today while I am out. He has a powerful impartation for us as a congregation.  I have a great message on the Holy Spirit ready for you next week as we will gather on Pentecost Sunday. I look forward to see you then.
