This is a regional event to hear the Word of the Lord for our state for 2007. The Lord’s New Year begins at this season and we are going to hear how we can expand the Kingdom of God through our united obedience to the word of the Lord to us as a corporate body of Christ. : During these two powerful evenings we will see the hand of God move with supernatural demonstrations, prophetic declaration, and prayer response from the body of Christ. It is our intention to activate and fulfill the words spoken to us and over us during these two nights to start the New Year with purpose and power which will spring board the body of Christ into her destiny for our region. We should come with prayerful expectations for both corporate and individual prophetic words.

Friend is a very powerful word. People want to have friends and people want to be friends but many people don’t know what it takes to have a good friendship. As I look back over my life I have had many friends but the level of intimacy has varied from one friendship to another. There are some friends who smile when you come around and other friends that call you when you are feeling down. Some friends need you more than you need them; while best friends are energized when they get together. What are the characteristics of the friends that energize you? What are the characteristics of the friends that drain you? This weeks message is going to look at the ways we can be good friends to others around us. Tune in LIVE at 10:45am.
It’s Monday and time to look at my emails from over the week end. Emails are the greatest tools ever. The phone calls and texts can come at the wrong time for me to respond. Snail mail, from the US Postal services is now an exercise in cutting up credit card applications, and faxes are never an option for personal communication. For me, I like the emails. I get to open them up when I have the time to read them and respond. I see my friend’s faces and hear their voices as I read.
As I read my emails today I am blessed by all my friends from all over the world. I have pictures and a message from Pastor Oliver in Croatia. He is letting me know that they had an entire family baptized. This is a nation that has less than 1% Christianity in their population. Pastor Kay from Croatia wrote to me to let me know she is speaking in another city in the north to share with the congregation about the power of the Holy Spirit. Croatia is small enough that every born again pastor knows each other by name! I’ve been in many of their churches. Pastor Jaya Kumar from India wrote thanking me for the food their orphans eat every day because of the support from Skyway Church. He recently prayed over 1000 hospital patients and 700 accepted Jesus as Lord and many miracles took place! Bishop Jerome Campher wrote to me letting me know that his services are now on the air in South Africa. Apostle Ed Delph checked in from Australia where he is conducting one of the biggest conferences of the year for him. Not everyone is from another country, Pastor Brian Alton from right here in Phoenix, AZ wrote to invite me to join him in October for a leadership gathering. Cheryl Sacs and I connected regarding AZ Call to Prayer and the extending of our fasting and prayer throughout the State of AZ. We are planning a great prophetic gathering for Oct. 11-12 at Skyway. This is just a glimpse of the wonderful friends I get to spend time with in my daily life through emails.
Finally I closed out my morning mailings and opened this blog to share with all of your. Where are you from? What is God doing in your life? It’s only Monday morning and we have a great life ahead.
God has given us everything necessary to live our lives with joy through good relationships. The Bible is not a list of restrictions; it is a treasure filled with ways to live life to the fullest. One day as people were gathering around Jesus they asked Him to tell them of all the commandments which one was the most important. In a moment of quiet hush the people anticipated the response. His answer reveals how important relationships are to God. They stand number one and two on the priority list of which scriptures we should obey. Jesus summarized the greatest commandments given to man as the essential keys to experience a happy life.
Jesus replied, “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the other commandments and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments. Matthew 22:37-40 (NLT)
